Losing A Pet Isnt Easy
The worst thng you could do if a pet goes missing is panic, so just calm down first. You will not be able to think straight if you are in a bit of a panic which means in the end you will not be able to find your animal because you just will not be able to concentrate.
Never give up; the pet could literally turn up miles from home as I found out from personal experience:
The dog that we had gotten from the RSPCA has just started to get used to our family, we usually buy our dogs but thought we would give a resuced one a chance. It seemed that the normal morning walk had taken a bit longer that normal so we were getting a bit worried until of course Dad walked in without the dog which was even more worrying.
What had happened is that he took a different route to normal and went down a main road, when a car went speeding by the dog had panicked and had pulled hard and escaped with the lead still attached to it.
So the search had begun with us frantically approaching printing management companies to help us look for the dog by flyer printing Brighton.
It ahad been quite a long time with a lot of stress involved which is when we got a call from someone saying she had the dog trapped in a field . Mum and another friend from work went off in the car to see if there was even a small chance it could be her. The thing is we thought this was impossible as the location was over ten miles from where she went missing. In the end it actually turned out that the dog had gone across fields, motorways and other roads to get to where she was now stuck. I really do not know how she managed to get so far without injuring herself at all.
So the real lesson to learn from this is, do not give up there is always a chance it will work out. There is of course the option of fitting a tracking chip inside the animal in the similar way that many businesses do with corporate identity design.
